Curiosity

Curiosity is the largest, most capable rover ever to be sent to Mars.  NASA Ames Research Center employed two Enwave portable, battery-powered laser Raman spectrometers for both laboratory and remote field-based analysis of rocks,minerals and organic compounds analogous to those that may be found on Mars during the Mars Science Laboratory Mission.
